The International Biomedical Engineering Honor Society at Texas A&M University
Established in 1979, Alpha Eta Mu Beta (AEMB) is a National Honor Society designed to recognize and encourage excellence in the field of Biomedical Engineering. As a member of AEMB, students are honored for their academic achievements, exemplary character, distinguished scholarship, honorable activities, and leadership. AEMB is a community of ambitious future leaders, through which professional growth and selfless service are fostered. AEMB also promotes a greater understanding of the Biomedical Engineering profession by deepening the interest and marked ability already developed in its distinguished members.
